3 Doomsday Prepping Tips
ByIt’s no secret that the world we live in can be a scary place, and you never know what’s going to happen. Unfortunately there are things happening that no one can control, and many prophecies believe that the end of life as we know it is near. While there isn’t much you can do to keep the world from ending so to speak, there is a lot you can do to prepare for the end times. Keep yourself and your family safe by using these 3 doomsday prepping tips. Have Transportation Options Having transportation options is another important thing to think about when you are prepping for the unknown. Although gas is still being processed and sold, gas prices have gotten astronomical recently. It is possible that they will get higher and higher and fuel will eventually run out completely and not be available to you. You need to make sure that you have enough gas so you can use your car to get out of town with very little notice, just in case. It is also smart to have options to get around should you not be able to get ahold of fuel for your car. Consider a bicycle or some other form of transportation that doesn’t need electricity or natural resources to run. Stockpile Non-Perishable Food The great thing about non-perishables, such as canned food, is that in most cases it either has no expiration date at all or a very long shelf life. This way you can stockpile as much as you want without having to worry about it going bad. Store it in a dry, cool place such as your garage or a large pantry. Some peppers have even rented storage units to keep all of their prepping supplies and extra food. When considering all the different things that could happen, it is important to remember to think about food sources. It is very possible that no food will be available to you for a very long time, so stock up while you can so that you and your family will be fed no matter what. Be Able To Protect Yourself When the real doomsday arrives, things could really start to go crazy. This is why it’s important to remember that you should be prepared to protect yourself and your loved ones at all costs. Having guns or other weapons that you own legally and know how to safely store can be a good decision. Of course, you hope you will never have to use these things, but should the time come you will be happy you have them. Prepping for doomsday can feel overwhelming, especially if you are new at it. Hopefully these tips can help make it a much less stressful experience for you!
