Many international non-profit organizations are just as worthy of your support as those that operate domestically. You can support an international non-profit organization by using these practical and simple tips.

Figure Out Which Organization You'd Like to Support

You first need to identify which international organization to which you would like to offer regular support. Criteria like whom or what the charity supports, what kinds of programs that it offers to its mission, and how responsible it is with donations are important to keep in mind in your search.

Set Up An International Money Transfer if You'd Like to Donate

For security reasons, you may not necessarily want to give the organization access to your bank account. Instead, you might prefer a more secure option for donating money.

You can still donate whatever sum of money that you choose by using an international money transfer service. A service like Western Union can send your donation to any international non-profit organization that you choose as long as they accept it. The organization typically will receive the donation in a matter of hours. The transaction is also secure and does not require that you divulge much, if any personal information and is reasonably priced. You also are not limited to the number of transactions that you can initiate, however your bank may put a limit on the number of times that you can transfer money out of the country. It also may limit the amount of cash that you can transfer.

However, a company like   Union generally allows you to send money as often as you prefer. You can send daily, weekly or monthly donations without any challenges.

Repost the Cause on Social Media

Another effective way that you can support an international non-profit involves reposting it on social media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Social networking allows non-profits to gain a broader audience. More people will see and learn about the organization and possibly be compelled to donate time, money and resources to it.

When you repost it on social media, you can also use hashtags and tags to tap into popular campaigns. You can raise awareness by tagging people whom you think would be interested in it and capable of offering financial support to the organization.

Tell Your Friends and Family Members About It

Finally, you can support an international non-profit by telling your friends and family members about it. They may not be aware of the organization's existence. They may have no idea of what the organization does or what kind of support it provides.

Likewise, your relatives and friends may be more interested in it since it is something that you yourself support. They might be willing to donate money to the organization because they trust your judgment and realize that you also are supporting it.

These simple tips allow you to support non-profit international organizations. You can send money to it to help it continue in its mission. You can also raise awareness about it online and get your loved ones involved in its support.
