Fast-Growing Startup Ideas

When a shortcut exists, it usually makes sense to take it. Why spend hours driving from point A to point B down a conventional road when there's another road you could take that could cut your journey time in half? So long as there are no negative consequences to taking the shortcut and you end up at the same destination anyway, you'd be foolish not to take it. The same could be said of business ideas. If you want to start a new self-employed career and your intention is to make as much money as possible as fast as you can, it makes sense to pick a type of business that's likely to grow quickly.

We’ve made the idea of choosing an industry sound simple in the above paragraph, but it isn’t. How can anybody know the prospects of a business before it begins? How can you work out what gives you the best chance of rapid returns and quick growth? Normally it would take you months of research - perhaps even years - but that’s why we mentioned shortcuts. You can cut out the research time by picking one of the ideas we’re about to highlight. They’re all jobs or industries that are demonstrating excellent growth potential in the 2020s. If you have the relevant skills, you should find plenty of customers ready and waiting to order from you!

Printing

During the 1990s and early 2000s, most people who had a computer at home also had a printer. That isn’t the case anymore, and we’re not really sure why. We’ve seen plenty of opinion columns that say printers aren’t necessary anymore in a digital world, but we all know that isn’t the case. We can all think of occasions where we’ve desperately needed to print something and haven’t had the facility to do so. You can make money out of that need - but we’re not talking about printing ad-hoc documents here and there. We’re thinking much bigger than that.

From bands to brands and individuals to institutions, people need print-on-demand services. Perhaps they need t-shirts printed. Maybe someone needs a huge wall poster or five. Mugs, pillows, pens, and phone cases can all be customized and printed. If you have the hardware at home, you can handle large-scale printing orders from anywhere. All you need is the Printify app and a presence somewhere like Shopify.

Content Writing

Someone got paid to write this article. I can assure you that the "someone" in question came armed with little more than fingers, a computer, and some applied knowledge. Content writing is a booming industry. Websites need content every day of every year for SEO purposes. People need scripts writing for their YouTube channels. Businesses need promotional emails and press releases drafting. Every word of every page you've ever read on the internet came from somewhere, and someone almost certainly got paid to write it.

To get involved in content writing, you'll need excellent typing skills, good interpersonal skills with customers, and the ability to meet deadlines. You can get started on a website like Fiverr or Upwork, which are aimed at freelancers. In fact, content writing is just one of many business ideas you can start on Fiverr, which is why the website is worth your attention if you’re considering escaping from the rat race.

Translation

You can skip right past this option if you're monolingual. If you're bi or even trilingual, though, keep reading. We live in a world that becomes more interconnected every day, but we don't all speak the same language. That's not ideal when businesses and individuals on opposite sides of the world need to communicate effectively. Chances are these people don't have the time to invest in learning another language themselves, so this is where you step in.

If you can speak more than one language, you can definitely make money acting as an intermediary between people who speak one of those languages and need to communicate with someone who speaks the other but can't. Websites and product guides often need translating, as do press releases and just about any other type of content you can imagine. Google Translate is a fine tool, but it's not accurate enough to do a reliable job yet. Until it reaches that point, there's money to be made in translation.

Review Sites

Ever since casinos went online, they've effectively had a license to print money. You don't necessarily need to have any experience in the casino sector to get involved in this emerging trend and make money from it - all you need to understand is how to operate a franchise model and how to direct traffic to a website. That’s why there are so many online casinos and why the need for review sites is so crucial to organise the world’s casinos so that players can understand, one of the best examples of these review sites is Sister Site - a UK index for online casinos.

The biggest appeal of using the franchised model of online casino products is that you’re not the person paying winnings when customers hit the jackpot - that’s still down to the people who own the games. All you’re providing is a portal for players to access the games and a few well-thought-out incentives to coax them into playing. In return, you’ll get a cut of every bet they place. If you have an aptitude for building successful websites, there’s no reason why you can’t make guaranteed money from a casino. That can’t be said for the people who play at them!

Virtual assistants, bookkeepers, and graphic designers tend to hit the ground running with startup businesses, too. So do editors, proofreaders, and e-book publishers. If you have an unusual voice, you can probably make money from becoming a voice-over artist. You don't need a wealth of experience to make money from a startup. All you need is a good starting idea and a lot of determination. Stop wasting your days imagining yourself becoming self-employed and go for it. If you get it right, you'll never look back!
