Arizona Is Opening An LGBT Middle School - With Tuition Paid For By Tax Dollars

In Arizona, a middle school strictly geared around LGBT ideology has been established, put together by activist group one-n-ten. The development and marketing director, Clayton Davenport, described the school as a "safe place" where the children can have "education that pertains to their own identity." 

To exasperate the matter, the Daily Caller reported, "Those attending the school are able to pay for their tuition using taxpayer-funded vouchers provided through a state program."

While being disguised as a "safe place" that is "affirming," inclusive, and accepting, it doesn't take a genius to see the narrative at play. Davenport stated the "affirming environment is going to be key to their mental health and educational advancement," which, ironically, is anything but the case.

The details of this school are as follows:

Math, science, and reading will rely on online programing, but in-person instruction will teach LGBT history and social studies (every day of the week).

Bathrooms will only have one stall and will remain gender-neutral.

There will be no out-of-pocket funding because tuition is covered by taxpayer-funded vouchers.

This school is for children ranging from ages 11 to 14, and it's safe to say these -- and all -- children are far too young and vulnerable for any such "school" to be helpful to their mental health.

A school centered on LGBT ideology is a breeding ground for confused, depressed, anxious, and lost individuals. Moreover, a school centered on LGBT ideology is run by confused, depressed, anxious, and lost individuals.

Of course, the irony of this grooming school is its redundancy. After all, children have been indoctrinated with the LGBT agenda in public schools for years. Using education as an excuse to prey on children is nothing new, this is just a louder version of it.

FRC Senior Fellow for Education Studies Meg Kilgannon commented to The Washington Stand,  "How have we arrived at the point in human history where instead of protecting children from early sexualization and exploitation, we use public monies to create an environment for children based on a claimed sexual identity?"

The fact of the matter is this attack on children is not slowing down. Children are an easy target for the enemy because they are so malleable. Kilgannon added, "When porn culture meets a government grant, we get sexuality micro schooling. It will be interesting to see how these kids perform on tests, in high school, and in life."

I agree. It will be interesting to see how a school, which is supposed to be educating and preparing students for their futures, manages itself -- especially on the basis of sexual anarchy. But what is more important than sitting back and watching is to actively pray for these individuals.

For one, Christians need to pray for the adults involved, so that they may wake up to the harm they're doing and stop plaguing children with lies and confusion. Luke 17:2 says, "It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin." And for causing the little ones to stumble, these people are in serious trouble.

Also, Christians need to pray for local and elected officials who have the authority to approve or disapprove of schools that are explicitly teaching leftist ideology and allowing taxpayers to be the source of funding. Pray that they use their authority to protect those who are vulnerable through their decisions, rather than making decisions that directly harm them.

And most importantly, Christians need to pray for these children. Unfortunately, the enemy is already deeply at work in the lives of those involved. No one is too far gone for the Spirit to transform, but children are precious to the Lord. Of course, we are all God's children, but the Bible is also not silent in showing Jesus's compassion for the little children He encountered.

Children are a gift and a blessing. Children are a great joy. Children are beautiful and made in the image of God. They must be protected, nurtured, and guided in truth.

This school -- brazenly leading children astray -- is disheartening, to say the least. But this is even more reason to pray, and to pray without ceasing.
